Higher Education commission (HEC) Scholarships 2015
The scholarship is offered by Higher Education Commission in collabiration with Cambridge Commonwealth Trust (CCT) for National(Pakistani) students. These scholarships are offered for those students who want to pursue doctorate (PHD) program at university of Cambridge in UK.Purpose of this program is to enhance the research skill of candidates, which will lead to better publications. There are number of skilled individual who due to economic reasons are unable to continue their studies, this scholarship is golden opportunity for them to purse higher education.

This award provide many grants for the applicants, these following grants are:

Eligibility Criteria
In to be considered for this award, candidates must be:
Pakistani citizen
Sixteen years of education
Two second divisions throughout the academic career.
40 years of age for full time regular faculty members of public sector Universities and 35 for others.
50% academic marks as per HEC Formula.
Candidate must have secured admission into a PhD programme.
The candidates who are already receiving any other scholarship are not eligible.
