November 2005 , the Institute was upgraded to the status of Indus University in
April 2012 by the Provincial Assembly of Sindh. The university is recognized by

Eligibility criteria
Matric/O Level with 60% marks for admission in BBA/BS/MBA
program
Inter/A Level /Equivalent with 45% marks for admission in
BBA/BS /MBA program
HSSC (pre engineering) with 60% marks for admission in BS
Electrical Engineering
NTS or GAT test with 50 score/University entry test for
admission in M.Phil./ MBA program
14 years education/BA/BSc./ B.Com (2 years) with CGPA 2.5
out of 4 and above is required for admission in MBA (3.5 years)
BBA/B.COM/M.COM/ACCA/ACMA with 2.5 CGPA for admission in
M.Phil./MBA (1.5 years) program
MS/M.Phil./Equivalent in relative field with 3.0 CGPA for
admission in PhD
BS.C ( Pre-Engineering/Pre-Science/Pre-Medical, DAE or
equivalent with 45% is required for admission in BS Science programs
BS / B.Sc. / B.A / B.com or Equivalent In addition to the
minimum qualification, a candidate must qualify a written test and an Interview
for admission to the B. Ed
DAE in related field is required for admission in B.Tech
