Chinese government scholarship 2016-17

Study in BIT

In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in various fields between China and other countries, the Chinese government has set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities.

China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as CSC), entrusted by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as MOE), is responsible for the enrollment and the administration of Chinese Government Scholarship program. Scholarships are offered in almost every field like Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Economics, Legal Studies, Management, Education, History, Literature, Philosophy, and Fine Arts for scholarship recipients at all levels.

Scholarship Description/Details

Scholarship covers

Undergraduate: CNY 2,500 (USD 400)

Master: CNY 3,000 (USD 485)

PhD Candidates: CNY 3,500 (USD 565)

Registration, tuition, laboratory experiments, internship, and basic textbook

Accommodation on or off campus depends on availability

Outpatient medical service and Comprehensive Medical Insurance and Protection Scheme

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must have a good academic record

Applicants who have graduated from Chinese universities for more than one year

Applicants for Master programs should be under the age of 35 and hold a bachelor’s degree

Applicants for PhD programs should be under the age of 40 and hold a master’s degree

Applicants are non-Chinese citizens and in good health

Applicants are not registered students in Chinese universities at the time of application

Applicants are not applying for language programs.

And the Agent No. of BIT is 10007.

Complete the Application Form incomplete form will be rejected

When all information is correct and complete, please submit it online.

Transcripts of the latest Degree

Two recommendation letters (additional recommendation letter from BIT advisors is preferable

Physical Examination Form

After reviewing the materials, we will contact you through email to post us the hard copy and tell you our mailing address. Any application materials posted to us without our permission will not be accepted.

Last Date to Apply

The application for the 2016 CSC scholarship is from January 1st to April 15th
